"Penetrating the Source" says: 'When their spiritual grounds are vast and leisurely, their refined harmony sits in abandonment. Ascending to this ground, I see neither the Shakya school nor Master Lao entering this meaning—how could I distinguish Master Lao from the Shakya school?' It also says: 'Now, that being still there are two spirits, or that with the spirit still the Dao is twofold—this is something I have never heard before.' It also says: 'Boyang concentrated his qi to attain softness, stayed in emptiness, and entrusted himself to the po-soul; the continuities of his soul rested in emptiness, hence, blending harmoniously, it was spontaneously the Dao.' It also says: 'The dust of the mind is wiped away on its own, ascending in one stroke to what is above form.'
