6.78

周之問曰。足下不翔翮於四果。猶勤集於佛教。翮不翔於五通。何獨棄於道跡乎。理例不通方為彼訴。

Zhouzhi asked, saying: "You have not soared on wings to the four fruits, yet you still diligently gather toward the Buddhist teaching. Your wings have not soared to the five supernatural knowledges, so why do you uniquely abandon the traces of the Dao? When the principle and precedent do not hold, you end up pleading for the other side."
