The explanation says: The Six Rong, Five Di, Four Yi, and Eight Man do not recognize the royal transformation and do not hear the Buddha Dharma; they are like animals, equal to the eight difficulties. Now, our sage ruler has elevated the governance of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors and illuminated the teaching of the One Vehicle. Devas and humans rejoice together, and the four seas are delighted; crawling and breathing creatures all rely on his grace, and squirming insects claim to have found their proper place. You fail to reflect on yourself and utter such idle chatter; you should quickly seal your tongue, so why bother pulling your ears to instruct you?
