10.11

I am honoured by your kind message presenting the imperial edict replying to his ministers on the Treatise on the Extinction of the Spirit. The heavenly insight reaches far and bright, and the sage's sentiment arises profoundly. Prostrating, I examined its mysterious subtlety, which truly enlightens my mediocrity and ignorance. That you should condescend to favor me with it, I deeply acknowledge your sincere regard. [Xiao] Wei bows with folded hands.
