前僧王明廣。大象元年二月二十七日王明廣答衛元嵩上破佛法事。鄴城故趙武帝白馬寺佛圖澄孫弟子王明廣。誠惶誠恐死罪上書。

By the former monk Wang Mingguang. On the twenty-seventh day of the second month of the first year of Daxiang, Wang Mingguang replied to Wei Yuansong's submission to destroy the Buddhadharma. Wang Mingguang, grandson-disciple of Fotudeng of Baima Temple of the late Emperor Wu of Zhao in Yecheng, with utmost trepidation and mortal dread, submits this letter under penalty of death.
