靈寶消魔安志經云。道以齋為先。勤行當作佛（新本並改云勤行登金闕）故設大法橋。普度諸人物。
The Lingbao xiaomo anzhi jing says: 'The Dao considers the retreat foremost; / Through diligent practice, one will become a Buddha.' (New editions all change this to: 'Through diligent practice, one ascends to the Golden Gate.') / 'Therefore the great Dharma bridge is established / To deliver universally all beings and things.'
