11.25

智慧本願本戒上品經曰。施散佛僧中食塔寺。一錢已上皆二萬四千倍。功少報多。世世賢明翫好不絕。七祖皆得入無量佛國。

The Scripture of the Original Vows and Original Precepts of Wisdom, Superior Chapter, says: 'Donating to Buddhist monks mid-day meals and to stupas and temples: from one coin upward, all receive twenty-four thousandfold [recompense]. The effort is small and the reward is great; generation after generation one will be worthy and wise, with fine treasures never failing, and seven generations of ancestors will all be able to enter immeasurable Buddha-lands.'
