11.38

弈云。庖犧已下一十五代。父子君臣。立忠立孝。守道履德。生長神州。得華夏正氣。人皆淳朴。以世無佛故也。

[Fu] Yi said: 'For fifteen generations after Baoxi, fathers and sons, rulers and ministers, established loyalty and filial piety, upheld the Way and practiced virtue; born and raised in the Divine Land, they attained the orthodox qi of Huaxia, and the people were all simple and pure, because there was no Buddha in the world.'
