15.26

乃昔有嘉會。茲日多神靈。維摩發淵響。請定不二名。玄音將誰和。法作率所情。亹亹玄心運。寥寥音氣清。麁二標起分。妙一寄無生。

In the past there was an auspicious assembly; / On this day there were many spiritual beings. / Vimalakīrti sent forth a profound resonance, / Asking for the definition of the term non-duality. / Who would harmonize with this profound sound? / Dharmakṛtya followed what his feelings held. / Tirelessly the profound mind moved; / Clear and desolate, the sound and air were pure. / Coarse duality designates the arising of differentiation; / Wondrous unity is lodged in non-arising.
