15.60

精粗事阻。始末理通。捨事就理。即朗祛蒙。惟此靈覺。因心則崇。四等拯物。六度在躬。明發儲寢。孰是化初。夕滅雙樹。豈還本無。眇眇遠神。遙遙安如。願言來期。免茲淪湑。

Refinement and coarseness obstruct affairs; / Beginning and end unite in principle. / Casting off affairs to approach principle, / At once one is brightened and dispels ignorance. / Contemplate this spiritual awakening: / Relying on the mind, it is exalted. / The four immeasurables rescue beings; / The six pāramitās reside in the person. / Clearly born in the crown prince's bedchamber, / Which was the beginning of transformation? / Extinguished at evening beneath the twin trees, / Did he return to original nonexistence? / Vast is the far-reaching spirit; / Remote, how peaceful! / May he promise a future time, / To deliver us from sinking into decay.
