覺謂寢無知。寐中非無見。意狀盈明前。好惡迭萬變。既悟眇已往。惜為浮物戀。孰視娑婆盡。寧當非赤縣。

Awake, one thinks sleep lacks awareness; / yet in slumber one is not without visions. / Forms of thought fill the clear scene before [the eye], / good and bad alternating in ten thousand shifts. / Once awakened, it has vanished into the distance; / how pitiable to yearn for fleeting things! / Looking upon the Sahā world, its exhaustion / is surely no different from the Red County.
