相州於大慈寺起塔。天時陰雪。舍利將下日便朗照。始入函雲復合。建塔之明年八月。光天尼寺寫得陝州瑞相圖。置於佛堂。神光屢發如電。又有五色雲蓋。正臨堂上。一日四見焉。又有白雲。狀如林木雰雨金華。其二花形如大蝶。色似青瑠璃。翱翔不下。乃騰虛而去。明年正月寺內又雨天華。

In Xiang prefecture, a pagoda was erected at Daci Temple. The weather was overcast and snowy. As the relics were about to be lowered, the sun shone brightly; as soon as they entered the casket, the clouds gathered again. In the eighth month of the year after the pagoda was built, the convent of Guangtian obtained a copy of the auspicious signs illustration from Shan prefecture and placed it in the Buddha hall; miraculous lights flashed repeatedly like lightning. There was also a five-colored cloud canopy directly overlooking the hall, which appeared four times in a single day. There were also white clouds resembling groves of trees, from which rained golden flowers; two of the flowers were shaped like great butterflies, colored like blue lapis lazuli, hovering without descending, before soaring into the void and departing. In the first month of the following year, heavenly flowers rained down within the temple again.
