17.25

嵩州於閑居寺起塔。人眾從舍利者萬餘。有兔逆坂走來歷輿下而去。天時陰雪。舍利將下日便朗照。始入函雲復合。

In Song prefecture, a pagoda was erected at Xianju Temple. The crowd following the relics numbered more than ten thousand. A hare ran up the slope, passed beneath the palanquin, and departed. The weather was overcast and snowy. As the relics were about to be lowered, the sun shone brightly; as soon as they entered the casket, the clouds gathered again.
