皇儀就日。帝道昌雲。化隆垂拱。德曼鴻芬。機乘八解。道照三墳。巍巍蕩蕩。萬代一君（其一）重離照景。玉潤舒華。七淨標美。三善稱嘉。降茲法雨。普洽生芽。漣漪義水。照曜文華（其二）芳園靉靆。天宮類寶。析論冥空。玄機入道。密宇浮清。重閣相藻。日映金雲。風搖銀草（其三）肩隨接武。握寶靈珠。皆抽四照。並掞九衢。顧惟多缺。徒奉瑛瑜。終如燕石。更似齊竽（其四）。

The imperial demeanor approaches the sun; / the sovereign’s Way prospers like clouds. / Transformation flourishes in hanging robes; / virtue spreads vast fragrance. / His faculty rides the eight liberations; / his Way illumines the three ancient records. / Towering and expansive, / one sovereign for ten thousand generations! (I) // The double brightness illuminates the scene; / jade moisture unfolds radiance. / The seven purities mark excellence; / the three good virtues are proclaimed fine. / Descending this Dharma rain, / it everywhere moistens the sprouts of beings. / Rippling is the water of principle; / dazzling is the literary brilliance! (II) // The fragrant garden is enveloped in mist; / the celestial palace resembles jewels. / Analyzing doctrines, one merges with emptiness; / through subtle faculties, one enters the Way. / Dense chambers float with purity; / multi-storied pavilions adorn one another. / The sun shines on golden clouds; / the wind stirs the silver grass! (III) // Shoulders following and heels touching, / they grasp precious spiritual pearls. / All draw forth the fourfold illumination, / and together display it across the nine avenues. / Reflecting on my many deficiencies, / I merely offer ordinary stones alongside jade. / In the end it is like the pebbles of Yan, / and even more like the Qi reed-pipes!
