20.78

竊聞。象分庖卦。克贊神明之德。訓啟箕疇。載穆彝倫之敘。自茲以降述者尤多。莫不叶璿政而增輝。仞金閨而聳價。矧乎真乘上智津萬有以興言。祕藏圓音警百靈而暢旨。燭迷均於麗景。清神比於甘露。自非六瓔踐位四輪飛德。豈能探賾至真研機妙本。是知茂於道者其教孔修。昌於業者其文伊煥。伏惟。

I have heard that when the trigrams were distinguished from the drawings of Baoxi, they assisted the virtue of the spirits and luminaries; when the instructions were opened through the Plan of Jizi, they harmonized the order of the constant relations. From then onward, writers have been particularly numerous, and none of them failed to accord with the jade-like governance to add luster, or enter the golden chambers to elevate their value. How much more so when the superior wisdom of the True Vehicle ferries the myriad existences through its words, and the perfect sound of the secret treasury alerts the hundred spirits and unfolds its purports! Its illumination of the confused equals the dazzling sunlight, and its refreshing of the spirit compares to amṛta. Were it not for stepping into the stages adorned with the six necklaces and flying the virtues of the four wheels, how could one probe the subtleties of the supreme truth and investigate the workings of the wondrous origin? Thus we know that when one flourishes in the Way, one's teachings are exceedingly cultivated; when one prospers in deeds, one's writings are truly brilliant. We respectfully contemplate:
