重覽來示。知猶欲令述義。不辨為利具如前言。甘露之開彌慚來說。若止是略標義宗。無為不爾。但愧以魚目擬法師之夜光耳。統和南。

I have re-read your incoming letter and know that you still wish for me to expound the meaning. That I am not able to benefit others is entirely as I stated before. As for opening the amṛta, I am all the more ashamed to speak of it. If it is merely to briefly outline the doctrinal principles, there is no harm in doing so. I only feel ashamed to offer a fish's eye in place of the Dharma Master's night-shining pearl. Tong bows with palms joined.
