The three realms of existence demarcate their regions; the four forms of birth receive their individual natures. Together they wander through the burning house; mutually they sink into the ocean of desire. For this reason, the Dharma King met the fortunes of the island-refuge, and the Awakened One responded to the time of the carts, guiding those sunken in delusion to return to this superior ground. Since the jeweled clouds shone from the west and the river of Dharma flowed eastward, amṛta has poured forth in vast streams, received and realized as the wind blows. The Imperial House governs the realm under Heaven, honoring the Way and exalting the Dharma, extracting the multitudes from dependent existence and urging sentient beings toward the non-dual. Therefore, sandalwood has been carved, paintings made, stone structured, and gold engraved, throughout the myriad states equaling the number of grains of sand. Furthermore, orders were issued to the designated officers to engage both the monastics and the laity; their refined sincerity surpassed offering skin and bones, and the verses exhausted the dragon palace. All that the golden mouth proclaimed has been compiled, copied, and transcribed, each set comprising three collections, amounting to a certain number of fascicles. Using this merit, with mind like empty space and through universal giving, there is no thought that is not suffused. Relying on the power of our vows, may we together ascend to the supreme fruition.
