玄奘聞。七曜摛光。憑高天而散景。九河灑潤。因厚地以通流。是知相資之美處物既然。演法依人理在無惑。伏惟。皇太子殿下。發揮睿藻。再述天文。讚美大乘莊嚴實相。珠迴玉轉霞爛錦舒。將日月而聯華。與咸英而合韻。玄奘輕生多幸。沐浴殊私。不任銘佩。奉啟陳謝。謹啟。

Xuanzang has heard that the seven luminaries cast their brilliance by relying on the high heavens to spread their light; the nine rivers sprinkle their moisture by relying on the thick earth to flow freely. Thus one knows that the beauty of mutual reliance is indeed so among things; preaching the Dharma by relying on people is an indubitable principle. Prostrating, I reflect that His Royal Highness the Crown Prince brought forth sagacious writing to reaffirm the celestial patterns, praising the Great Vehicle and adorning the true reality. Pearls turning and jade rolling, rosiness blazing and brocade unfurling, it joins its blossom with the sun and moon and harmonizes its rhyme with the Xianchi and Daying. Xuanzang, of insignificant life, is immensely fortunate to bathe in such extraordinary favor; unable to bear my deep gratitude, I present this petition to offer thanks. Respectfully petitioned.
