渾風緬沒。旅俗膠加。競文內疚。誰靦心瑕。再惟情反。三省身華。貴危窮濫。貧懾豪奢。邅迴六蔽紛綸七邪。不圖厥始。逸馬難罝。

The pristine primordial style has long sunk away; common customs grow ever more stubborn. / Competing in outer embellishment while guilt-ridden within, who is ashamed of mental blemishes? / Ponder again the reversal of passions; thrice examine bodily splendor. / The noble are in peril, the destitute turn to excess; the poor are intimidated by the haughty and extravagant. / Wandering through the six hindrances, confused by the seven perversities. / Not considering the beginning, the runaway horse is difficult to snare.
