韞石諒非真。飾瓶信為假。竊服臯門上。濫吹緇軒下。鳳祀徒驚心。騶文終好野。實相豈或照。浮榮未能捨。迹殊冠冕客。事襲驅馳者。已矣歇鄭聲。無然亂周雅。

A stone enclosed [like jade] is truly not genuine; / An adorned vase is verily an imitation. / Illicitly wearing robes atop the palace gate, / Playing out of tune beneath the black carriage. / Sacrifice of the phoenix vainly startles the heart; / The patterns of the swift steed ultimately prefer the wilds. / How could the true mark ever be illuminated? / Fleeting glory cannot yet be abandoned. / Traces differ from those clad in caps and robes, / Yet affairs follow those who scurry about. / Let it cease! Stop the sounds of Zheng; / Do not thus disrupt the Ya odes of Zhou.
