若修萬行常願具足。得佛胸萬字相。若捨國城妻子。得佛淨土眷屬賢聖相。若自節食上味施人。得佛上味相。

If one cultivates the myriad practices and ever aspires to perfection, one attains the Buddha's mark of the svastika on the chest. If one renounces kingdoms, cities, wives, and children, one attains the Buddha's mark of a pure land with worthies and sages as one's retinue. If one moderates one's own diet and gives supreme flavours to others, one attains the Buddha's mark of the supreme sense of taste.
