應以出家蒙利者。所以捨金輪位剃除鬚髮。應以相好蒙利者。所以現成正覺坐菩提樹。

For those who should receive benefit through his leaving home, he relinquished the position of the Golden-Wheel-Turning King and shaved his beard and hair. For those who should receive benefit through his primary marks and secondary signs, he manifested the attainment of true awakening and sat beneath the Bodhi tree.
