聞善若己燭良書。見賢思齊美通誥。感幽動地孝有誠。殞首流腸忠為操。振禮摛文弘憲則。機謀飈勇靜姦暴。明白入素志沖閑。高論窮微契神奧。捐軀濟物不邀名。輕財貴義豈期報。百行萬善紛塗軌。求誠罄想畢歡蹈。

Hearing of goodness as if it were one's own shines from good texts; / Seeing the worthy and striving to match them is praised in standard teachings. / Affecting the unseen and moving the earth, filial piety has sincerity; / Losing one's head and spilling one's intestines, loyalty serves as one's integrity. / Elevating propriety and expounding literature broadens institutional models; / Resourceful strategy and swift courage pacify treason and violence. / Clear and pure, the aspiration is serene and disengaged; / Lofty discourses exhaust subtleties, tallying with the spiritual mystery. / Sacrificing one's life to succor beings without seeking fame; / Holding wealth lightly and prizing righteousness, how could one expect reward? / The hundred practices and myriad goods take diverse tracks; / Bringing sincerity to full fruition, they leap in complete joy.
