27.53

我從無始已來。身根因緣多造眾罪。自重輕他增長癡愛。由此業故。得下賤報。於佛勝緣無由攀附。是大可恥五也。

From the beginningless past to the present, conditioned by the body sense-faculty, I have committed many sins, holding myself in high esteem and making light of others, thereby increasing ignorance and craving. Due to this karma, I have received lowly retribution and have had no way to grasp the superior conditions of the Buddha. This is the fifth great shame.
