傾都麗佳。繞梁之曲。肥馬輕裘。蕙肴芳醁。晦黑滋生。昏嚚競欲。貌蕩魂浮身甘意觸。靈蔡攝根。情葵衛足。蟲草或虞。人何不勗。

Dazzling beauty capsizes the city; songs linger around the rafters. / Fat horses and light furs; fragrant dishes and luscious wine. / Darkness and murk grow abundantly; muddleheaded obstinacy vies in desires. / Appearance profligate, soul adrift, the body relishes tangible objects of mind. / Divinatory tortoises withdraw their limbs; sentient mallows protect their feet. / Even insects and plants show prudence; how could human beings fail to exert themselves?
