下。諮稟未聞受教。君子友朋好合。不亦善乎。無宜大安斯趣。盤桓遊逸。恐此生滅相尋有無繼作。若三毒一馳則義無怨親。四凶互出則夭壽俱剪。雖欲保全。其可得哉。今善身已建。六軍啟途。出彼火宅。尋討未服。梟斬之期非旦即夕。幸體往意時作出計。勿懷猶豫濫嬰斯禍。臨路遣書。怱怱無盡。

to inquire and receive what has not yet been heard, and to receive instructions from the gentlemen. Is it not good for friends to unite harmoniously? You should not comfortably settle in this realm, lingering in idling and pleasure. I fear that this arising and ceasing follow one another, and existence and non-existence occur in succession. If the three poisons once run wild, there will in principle be no distinction between foe and kin; if the four perils emerge alternately, both the young and the old will be cut down together. Even if one wishes to preserve oneself, how could that be possible? Now the virtuous body has already been established, and the six armies have set out on their march, departing from that burning house to seek out and subdue the rebellious. The date of beheading and execution is not this morning then this evening. May you appreciate the intention of this message, and quickly devise a plan for the time. Do not harbor hesitation and mistakenly fall into this calamity. Sent on the road, with endless haste.
