勅覺觀大司馬置府初禪。邪思惟都尉列陣三有。心原未靜頻被風波。禪枝欲茂再遭霜雪。安靜將軍埋身亂境。勅我見行高鎮陀那之嶺。惑山萬刃疑戍百重。討返還迷問津天路。使觀身實相申如羊角。緣家妄業密若魚鱗。故毒動狂子酒醒醉客。覆真金藏隱肥膩草。博通將軍兀然如醉。斯則率土之賓。皆吾民也。今十軍意氣五將英雄。乘機發立成國宗廟。朕俛仰即位臨軒御宇纂承王業。握圖受命。困弱之輪無際足擬金輪。心與駿䭿有餘。聊充紺馬。衣冠無二車書已一。方扇長風於火宅。粉高車於門外。解釋甲冑與民更始。將軍士卒並亡智力俱喪。路窮箭盡棄馬焚舟。螗螂舉臂。良可愍也。良可恥也。盜跖率卒侵暴諸侯。孔丘置陣流汗反府。即將軍之明誡也。皇太子彌勒代邸龍飛。朕汗馬歸朝。銜罪庭闕。將軍見徵。未敢聞命也。情深筆短。不能多白。冀歸高君子相期於言外焉。波旬頓首死罪。

The source of the mind was not yet still, repeatedly struck by wind and waves; the branches of dhyāna were about to flourish, yet again suffered frost and snow. The Tranquil General buried his body in chaotic realms. / Ordered the Self-View High Commander to garrison the peak of Danadhara; with the mountain of delusion ten thousand fathoms high and the ramparts of doubt a hundredfold, those who went out to attack returned in confusion when inquiring after the ford to the heavenly road, causing the observation of the true mark of the body to twist like a ram's horn, and the delusive karmas of dependent origination to become as dense as fish scales. Thus the poison agitated the mad child, and the wine sobered the drunken guest; covering the treasury of true gold, they hid the fattening grass. The Universal Knowledge General stands numb as if intoxicated! / Thus all within the borders are my subjects. Now the ten armies are full of spirit, and the five generals heroic; seizing the moment, they arose and founded the state and ancestral temples. In the space of a nod, I ascended the throne, faced the veranda to govern the universe, and inherited the royal enterprise. Holding the charts and receiving the mandate, my wheel of exhaustion and weakness is endlessly matched against the golden wheel; my heart and swift steed have more than enough, serving for the time being as the dark-blue horse. Caps and robes are uniform, and carts and scripts have been united. We are about to fan the long winds within the burning house and pulverise the high carts outside the gate! Shedding our armor, we make a new start with the people. / You, General, have seen your officers and soldiers perish together, their wisdom and strength utterly destroyed. The road is at an end, the arrows exhausted; you have abandoned your horses and burned your boats. For a praying mantis to raise its arms is truly pitiable, truly shameful! When the Robber Zhi led his troops to invade and pillage the feudal lords, Kong Qiu drew up his ranks and returned to his residence bathed in sweat; this should serve as your clear warning! / When Crown Prince Maitreya ascends the dragon throne from his secondary residence, I shall gallop back to court bathed in sweat and confess my guilt before the palace steps. But as for your present summons, General, I dare not follow your command! My feelings run deep while my brush is short, so I cannot say more. I hope that a noble gentleman who returns to the heights will understand me beyond words. / Pāpīyān bows his head, guilty of a capital offense.
