塵中喧慮積。物外眾情捐。茲地信爽塏。墟壟曖阡眠。藹藹車徒邁。飄飄旌毦懸。細松斜繞逕。峻嶺半藏天。古樹無枝葉。荒郊多野煙。分花出黃鳥。挂石下新泉。蓊欝均雙樹。清虛類八禪。栖神紫臺上。縱意白雲邊。徒然嗟小藥。何由齊大年。

Amid the dust, noisy anxieties accumulate;
Beyond worldly things, multitudinous feelings are cast off.
This land is truly high and clear;
Mounds and graves blur along field paths.
Grandly, carriages and attendants proceed;
Fluttering, banners and feather plumes hang down.
Slender pines wind diagonally around the path;
Towering ridges half conceal the sky.
Ancient trees are stripped of branches and leaves;
Desolate wildlands are filled with rustic smoke.
Parting flowers, a yellow bird appears;
Cascading over rocks, a fresh spring descends.
Lush and verdant, like the Twin Trees;
Pure and vacant, resembling the eight dhyānas.
Resting the spirit atop the purple terrace,
Giving free rein to thoughts beside white clouds.
In vain I sigh over the lesser medicine;
By what means could I equal the great lifespan?
