鷄鳴動睟駕。㮈苑睠晨遊。朱鑣陵九達。青蓋出層樓。歲華滿芳岫。虹采被春州。葆吹臨風遠。旌羽映光浮。喬枝隱修逕。曲澗聚輕流。徘徊花草合。瀏湸鳥聲遒。金盤響清梵。涌塔應鳴桴。慧雲方靡靡。法水正悠悠。實歸徒荷教。信解愧難詶。

At cockcrow, the radiant carriage departs;
Toward the mango grove, the sovereign looks on the morning tour.
Red bridles surmount the nine thoroughfares;
Blue canopies emerge from multi-storied towers.
The splendor of the season fills fragrant crags;
Rainbow colors cover the spring province.
Feathered canopies and flutes drift far in the wind;
Banners and feathers reflect floating light.
Tall branches conceal the long path;
Winding ravines gather gentle currents.
Lingering, flowers and herbs join together;
Clear and ringing, birdcalls sound vigorous.
Golden cymbals echo with pure Sanskrit chanting;
The welling pagoda responds to beating drumsticks.
Wisdom clouds are just now billowy;
Dharma waters are presently flowing broad.
Truly taking refuge, I receive the teaching in vain;
In faith and understanding, I am ashamed of being unable to repay it.
