聖情想區外。脂駕出西南。前驅聞鳳管。後乘躍龍驂。爰遊非逸豫。幽谷有靈龕。兼覿息心者。宴坐臨清潭。禪食寧須稼。雲衣不待蠶。蘋荇緣㵎壑。蘿葛蔓松楠。鶯林響初囀。春畦翠欲含。惑心隨教遣。法味與恩覃。庶憑八解力。永滅六塵貪。

The sage heart contemplates beyond worldly bounds;
Greasing the carriage, he sets forth to the southwest.
Ahead, one hears phoenix pipes;
Behind, dragon steeds leap in harness.
This excursion is not for leisurely pleasure;
In the secluded valley there is a numinous shrine.
Furthermore, he visits those who have stilled their minds,
Sitting at ease beside the clear pool.
Dhyāna food requires no plowing;
Cloud robes await no silkworms.
Duckweed and water-shields border ravines and gorges;
Wisteria and vine cling to pines and nanmu.
In the oriole woods, songs first warble;
Spring garden plots verge on emerald green.
The deluded mind is dismissed along with the teaching;
Dharma flavor is extended with imperial favor.
May we rely on the power of the eight liberations,
To forever extinguish greed for the six sense objects.
