蘭庭厭俗賞。柰苑矚年華。始入香山路。仍逢火宅車。慈門數片葉。道樹一林華。雖悟危藤鼠。終悲在篋蛇。

Weary of worldly pleasures in the orchid courtyard, / One gazes on the spring splendour in the Jambu Grove. / First entering the road to Mount Gandhamādana, / One still encounters the carriages from the burning house. / At the gate of compassion, a few falling leaves; / On the tree of the Way, a whole grove of blossoms. / Though awakened to the rat gnawing the perilous vine, / In the end, one grieves over the serpents enclosed in the basket.
