福界新開草。名僧共下延。楊枝生拱樹。錫杖呪飛泉。石座應朝講。山龕擬夜禪。當非舍衛國。賣地取金錢。

In the realm of merit, new grass has been cleared; / Eminent monks are invited together down [the mountain]. / Willow branches sprout from trees one can embrace; / A tin staff conjures forth a flying spring. / The stone seat is prepared for morning lectures; / The mountain niche is meant for nightly meditation. / This surely is not the country of Śrāvastī, / Where land was bought with golden coins.
