30.51

天長命自短。世促道悠悠。禪衢闊遠駕。愛海亂輕舟。累塵曾未極。心樹豈能籌。情埃何用洗。正水有清流。

Heaven is long, yet life is brief; / the world is fleeting, while the Way stretches far. / The thoroughfare of dhyāna is broad for distant carriages; / the ocean of desire troubles the frail boat. / Accumulated defilements have never reached an end; / how can the mind-tree be measured? / With what can the dust of passions be washed away? / The water of correctness has a clear flow.
