文始傳云。天有五億五萬五千五百五十五重。地亦如之。厚一萬里。四角有金柱金軸。方圓三千六百里。神風持之。以四海為地脈。天地山川河漢通氣風雲皆從山出。

The Wenshi zhuan says: 'The heavens have five hundred and five million, five thousand, five hundred and fifty-five tiers; the earth is also like this. Its thickness is ten thousand li. At the four corners there are golden pillars and golden axles, three thousand six hundred li around. Divine winds uphold them. They take the four seas as the earth's veins. The heaven, earth, mountains, rivers, and the Milky Way circulate pneuma, and wind and clouds all emerge from the mountains.'
