9.58

文始傳稱。老子與尹喜遊天上。入九重白門天帝見老便拜。老命喜與天帝相禮。老子曰。太上尊貴。剋日引見。太上在玉京山七寶宮。出諸天上。寂寂冥冥清遠矣。

The Wenshi zhuan states that Laozi roamed the heavens with Yin Xi. Entering the White Gate of Ninefold Enclosures, the Heavenly Emperor bowed upon seeing Laozi. Laozi ordered Xi to exchange courtesies with the Heavenly Emperor. Laozi said, "The Supreme (Taishang) is venerable and noble; an audience will be granted on a designated day. The Supreme resides in the Palace of Seven Jewels on Mount Yujing, transcending the various heavens, silent, obscure, pure, and remote."
