又案三張之法。春秋二分祭社祠竈。冬夏兩至同俗祠祀。兵符社契軍將交兵。都無戒勸之文。此之神社。為神為道。若是神者。道士不拜。如其道也。不設酒脯。豈有口誦魔言身行禮祭。求出三界。良可悲夫。

Furthermore, examining the methods of the Three Zhangs, they sacrifice to the earth god and the stove at the spring and autumn equinoxes, and perform the same sacrificial rites as the common people at the winter and summer solstices. Military tallies and earth-god pacts clash in arms with generals and soldiers, completely lacking any text of precept or admonition. As for these spirit altars: are they spirits, or are they the Dao? If they are spirits, a Daoist priest does not bow to them; if they are the Dao, one does not set out wine and dried meat. How can one orally chant demonic words and physically perform sacrifices, yet seek to escape the three realms? Truly, it is lamentable!
