Your subject laughs and says: Once the great flood washes, Kunlun floats and drifts; afterwards there is a great fire, where gold and iron melt and the earth has no vegetation, until after tens of billions of years, heaven and earth are like the yolk of a chicken's egg—all of this together is named one kalpa. Yet the chun is a worldly tree; if one burns it with worldly fire, it turns to ash; when encountering the fire of the kalpa, it is instantly obliterated. Yet to say that a great kalpa is equal to a chun tree—how utterly erroneous! It too is laughable!
