Your subject Gang states: I prostrate myself upon learning that the imperial carriage has arrived at Tongtai Temple to inaugurate the title of the golden-lettered Prajñāpāramitā-sūtra, shining the sun of wisdom upon deluded beings and guiding the long stream that leads beyond the world. A hundred flowers share the same shade; ten thousand streams converge in the ocean. The hidden and the manifest offer praise; the entire realm is steeped in moisture. Ever since my body became indisposed, the moon has waxed and waned. While the amṛta broadly blankets [all] and humans and devas gather together, the demonic obstacles to prajñā have fallen solely upon my humble self. Longing for and tethered to the turning of the wheel of Dharma, I inwardly reprove myself deeply. Unable to bear my humble feelings, I respectfully present this memorial of inquiry. Respectfully presented.
