One item: The present Emperor summoned the two traditions of Buddhism and Daoism into the palace to expound in detail on names and principles.
One item: The Emperor, on the completion of Ximing Temple, summoned monks and Daoist priests into the palace to debate doctrines.
One item: The Emperor, because winter snow had not fallen, established a fast and sacrifice in the inner palace and summoned the two traditions of Buddhism and Daoism to debate doctrines.
