舍利則有疑焉。埋之本銘置于其上。據事以量則長干佛骨頗移於帝里。然江南古塔猶有神異。崇義所流。蓋蔑如也。故兩述之矣。但年歲綿遠後人莫測。略編斯紀以顯厥緣云。

As for the śarīras, there was doubt. They were buried with the original inscription placed on top. Assessing by the facts, the Buddha's relics of Changgan were largely moved to the imperial capital. However, the ancient stūpa in Jiangnan still possessed divine anomalies, while those that flowed to Chongyi were virtually non-existent. Therefore, I have recorded both. Yet the years are distant, and later generations cannot discern them; I have briefly compiled this record to manifest their circumstances.
