五十唐龍朔中。有事遼左行軍將𦵮仁貴。行至隋主討遼古地。乃見山像空曠蕭條絕於行往。討問古老云。是先代所現。便圖寫傳本京師云云。

50. In the middle of the Longshuo era of the Tang, when there were military operations in Liaozuo, the marching general Xue Rengui traveled to the ancient territory where the Sui sovereign had campaigned against Liao. There he saw a mountain image in an expansive, desolate wilderness cut off from travelers. Inquiring of the elders, they said it was manifested in a former era. He thereupon had a copy drawn and transmitted back to the capital.
