陳世祖文皇帝紹隆三寶。弘化五乘。盛澤比於慈雲。大明方於慧日。美譽形于四海。仁心貫於三靈。刁斗無虞。干戈載戢。修治故寺六十所。寫一切經五十藏。度僧尼三千人。

Emperor Wen, Shizu of Chen carried forward the Three Jewels and broadly transformed the five vehicles. His abundant bounty was compared to a cloud of compassion; his great brilliance was matched with the sun of wisdom. His fine reputation took shape across the four seas; his humane mind penetrated the three spirits. The watch-gongs sounded without alarm; spears and halberds were laid to rest. He restored sixty ancient monasteries, copied fifty complete sets of the Buddhist canon, and ordained three thousand monks and nuns.
