晉司徒公王謐。謐見東掖寺門輒有金光燭地。因往掘之得一金像。合光七尺。別起精舍終身供養。又感瑞呈真造東安寺。

Duke of the Ministry of Works Wang Mi under the Jin. Mi saw that outside the gate of Dongye Monastery there was always a golden light illuminating the ground. He therefore went to excavate it and found a golden image, seven feet tall including its halo. He established a separate vihāra and made offerings to it for the rest of his life. Furthermore, moved by auspicious portents showing truth, he built Dong'an Monastery.
