開士喻曰。自項日降靈摩騰入洛。歸心奉法不可殫言。今當為子略陳十代君王三公宰輔通儒博識敬信佛者。以告子也。

The bodhisattva instructed: "From the time the sun of the neck descended in divine spirit and Kāśyapa Mātaṅga entered Luoyang, those who turned their hearts to venerating the Dharma cannot be fully recounted. Now, I shall briefly set forth for you the rulers, the Three Excellencies, ministers, prime ministers, penetrating Confucians, and erudite scholars across ten dynasties who reverently had faith in the Buddha, in order to inform you."
