晉清信士張繼世。繼世以捕魚為業。見水上有光。乃是金像花趺。上簡成帝送安悝像。齊同如一。世遂發心棄其本業。終日策勤。成帝迴向信佛威靈。

The pure-faith layman Zhang Jishi under the Jin. Jishi made his living by fishing. He saw light upon the water, which turned out to be the lotus pedestal of a golden image. He presented it to Emperor Cheng, who sent it to be fitted onto Kui's image, and they matched as one. Jishi thereupon gave rise to faith, abandoned his original livelihood, and applied himself diligently from dawn to dusk. Emperor Cheng turned his heart and had faith in the Buddha's awe-inspiring power.
