殖眾德本。於襄州修造上鳳林寺。憑危跨谷接棟連雲。香閣禪龕依巖架𡵒。佛事嚴整殿宇光華。月入秋窓。風生夏戶忘憂滿院。長樂盈階。竹聳茅簷。松橫石砌。奇峯亘日。逈樹參天。寓目開心。自然忘返。

He planted roots of manifold virtues. In Xiangzhou he built the Upper Fenglin Monastery: leaning over precipices and spanning valleys, its joined beams reached into the clouds. Fragrant pavilions and meditation niches rested on the cliffs and were suspended over ravines. The Buddhist affairs were dignified and orderly, the halls and buildings resplendent. The moon entered the autumn windows, and the wind arose at the summer doors; forgetfulness of sorrow filled the courtyard, and lasting joy overflowed the stairs. Bamboo soared above thatched eaves, and pines stretched across stone steps. Wondrous peaks spanned the sun, and distant trees touched the sky. Opening one's eyes and delighting the mind, one naturally forgot to return.
