4.13

右七王。並敬信居懷敦崇為業。或文或武匡國匡家。叶柱石之風有廊廟之德。知空雲之遽變。識蜃氣之非常。同悟己身等歸磨滅。乃迴心佛理共遵聖化。咸受八戒俱持六齋。造寺度僧設會崇善。

The above seven princes all harbored reverence and faith, taking devotion and veneration as their practice. In civil or military roles, they assisted the state and family, harmonizing with the demeanor of pillar-stones and possessing the virtue of court and temple. Understanding that empty clouds change rapidly and recognizing that mirages are not permanent, they mutually realized that their own bodies would equally come to extinction. Thereupon, they turned their minds to Buddhist principles and jointly revered sagely transformation, all receiving the eight precepts and constantly observing the six fast days, building monasteries, ordaining monks, holding assemblies, and honoring the good.
