右三王。竝敬信居懷流通在意。篤愛仁孝秦王最優。常持六齋每行十善。書經造像所在用心。為襄州總管之日。綏撫化導大得物情。俗詠來蘇時稱至晚。其延興堂宇濟度神宮。悉是王所臥居。捨而為寺。

The above three princes all cherished reverence and faith in their hearts, setting their intentions on the dissemination [of the Dharma]. In sincere love, benevolence, and filial piety, the Prince of Qin was the most outstanding. He constantly observed the six days of purification and continually practiced the ten good deeds. Wherever he was, he applied his mind to transcribing sūtras and making images. During his tenure as Area Commander-in-Chief of Xiangzhou, his soothing pacification and guiding influence greatly won the hearts of all beings; the common folk sang of the relief he brought, complaining only that he had arrived too late. The halls of the Yanxing Temple and the divine palace of the Jidu Nunnery were originally the prince's own bedchambers, which he relinquished to make into temples.
