卓犖不群骨梗無輩。參謀王室首建義旗。去煩就簡之功。佐命平暴之力。任居闈閫有積炎凉。宿衛宮城頻移氣序。用心恭謹獨美當朝。文物具瞻聲猷遐布。一門昆季三人駙馬。敬信崇重造寺書經。每以法言備修善事。

Towering above the crowd and unyieldingly upright without peer, he took part in the royal house's counsel and was among the first to raise the banner of righteousness. He performed the merit of discarding complexity to pursue simplicity, and exercised the might of an dynastic aide in quelling violence. Holding office in the imperial quarters across many seasons of heat and cold, he kept night guard over the palace walls through recurring shifts of the seasons. Reverent and prudent in his mind, he alone was celebrated in the contemporary court. His refined culture was universally admired, and his renowned virtue was broadcast far and wide. Three brothers from his single clan were imperial sons-in-law. Revering and esteeming [the Dharma] with deep faith, he built monasteries and copied sūtras, always using words of the Dharma to fully cultivate wholesome deeds.
