文足字民。武堪靜難。泛愛仁厚。來晚去思。汲引為心檀忍不倦。

His civil talent was sufficient to nurture the people; his martial power was able to pacify turmoil. Universally loving, benevolent, and generous, he was lamented as having arrived too late and longed for when departed. Guiding others was his intention, and he was untiring in giving (dāna) and forbearance (kṣānti).
